The ribbed fabric has just enough stretch that it doesn't pull over his head, which is a small mercy at 6am. Washed it four times already and it still looks new. Cosy enough that I've been buying the next size up before he even grows into it.
Snapped this on my wriggly 4-month-old and the ribbed stretch made diaper changes way less of a wrestling match. Washed it three times already and it hasn't pilled or lost its shape.
The soft ribbed fabric is even cosier in person, and the fit is roomy enough that baby moves around freely in it. It's become our go-to for both playtime and naptime because it's so easy to put on.
